Packaging and Shipping Clerk 3rd Shift Plus $2.00 Shift Premium

The packaging and shipping clerk processes varying types of shippable materials per customer demands; interacts with carriers, customer service, and manufacturing; maintains a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity around the shipping dock, adjacent product warehouses, and manufacturing operations.

This position is located at our manufacturing plant at 2230 W. Florist Ave in Glendale, WI.

• Manually picks, packs, & prepares product from stock warehouses for shipment as specified in the customer order & in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Use automated conveyor for picking material, pack material per automated instructions, interact with equipment to keep workflow moving to avoid production slowdowns upstream
• Use forklifts & manual or electric pallet jacks to perform material handling duties within the facility & assist loading/unloading of trucks
• Responsible for the complete & accurate shipping of all products, maintenance of finished goods warehouse 
• Support area goals for continuous improvement, by serving on ad hoc committees &/or teams as required
• Assemble & label boxes
• Palletize & wrap product according to specification
• Adhere to Brady’s Attendance, Safety & other Company policies
• Restock consumable items at end of every shift & as needed
• Maintains general housekeeping, clean production areas at end of every shift, & as needed
• Provide basic support within production areas as needed & other duties as assigned
