Our NY office is growing! We are seeking a dedicated and results driven Workers' Compensation Attorney to lead our New York Office! At Brandon J. Broderick we are committed to providing exceptional legal services to individuals who have been injured at work. Our team is passionate about ensuring clients receive the full compensation they deserve. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully handling complex workers' compensation cases, negotiating settlements, and advocating for clients in hearings and appeals.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Represent injured workers in workers' compensation claims.
- →Oversee a caseload of workers' compensation cases from initiation through resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
- →Handle all aspects of workers' compensation litigation, including appeals, settlement negotiations and trial preparations.
- →Collaborate with leadership and support staff to devise case strategies for optimal outcomes.
- →Maintain strong client communication, keeping them informed of their status, answering all questions and guiding them throughout the case.
Requirements
~1 min read- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in New York, in good standing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience handling workers' compensation law matters, with a focus on New York law.
- Proficient litigation skills, including experience with drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and courtroom appearances.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Empathy and a client focused attitude.
