Our Client is seeking a dynamic Market Development Manager (MDM) to lead the development and execution of strategic go-to-market initiatives that align customer and prospect needs with our industrial maintenance and construction capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define vertical market segments and develop a strategic go-to-market approach targeting industrial maintenance, reconstruction, and construction needs.
  • Create a comprehensive business plan and budget to deliver measurable, profitable sales growth.
  • Generate demand for services and products within the assigned market segment.
  • Establish and maintain frequent contact with existing and prospective customers to present value-driven solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations.
  • Develop and execute a customer contact plan to ensure consistent engagement with decision-makers.
  • Identify and capture new revenue opportunities that align with company objectives.
  • Conduct industry research to identify potential customers and apply findings in actionable ways.
  • Produce accurate sales and forecasting reports to drive strategic decisions and ensure organizational readiness.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, OR
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Prior experience in sales, marketing, or market segment leadership preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and results-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of heavy industrial markets is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Based in Lakeland, FL.
  • Travel to client sites is required.
  • Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Corporate office and field environment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and job-related physical.
  • Commitment to a safe and healthy workplace.

Requirements
