Brickeye leverages the power of data from construction to drive risk mitigation and productivity gains. We are a fast-growing construction technology company developing the world’s most advanced IoT-based risk mitigation platform for water damage mitigation, concrete quality/defect control, and real-time site intelligence. We protect construction projects from avoidable loss, reduce the total cost of risk, and help asset owners, general contractors, and insurers deliver projects on time and on budget.

Brickeye has achieved remarkable success through capital efficiency, driving rapid revenue growth while maintaining a lean operational footprint. We are now seeking a MEP Project Manager in the Vancouver area who can bridge the gap between Brickeye technology and construction site implementation.

Your mission will be to deliver exceptional customer experiences within our Construction Risk Technology division by analyzing MEP drawings, managing field deliverables and a variety of stakeholders - from Project Directors and Superintendents to mechanical trade partners - ensuring the successful implementation of Brickeye technology services. This is a high-leverage role designed for an individual with expertise in high-rise mechanical building systems who is ready to drive site intelligence and risk mitigation.

  • Lead the implementation of Brickeye services from the initial review of MEP/architectural drawings through commissioning and live support.
  • Utilize technical expertise to oversee survey, installation, and maintenance services, ensuring every component meets company and project standards.
  • Act as the lead technical expert for on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting, developing mitigation strategies for day to day challenges.
  • Train site personnel on the response plan and onboarding on the CR App. Conduct periodic inspections of the site to verify system functionality.
  • Evaluate existing service delivery to identify opportunities for automation and performance reliability.

  • A degree or diploma in Construction Management, MEP Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in mechanical/plumbing fundamentals on domestic water systems for high-rise or vertical construction.
  • Proven ability to manage complex project timelines and technical deliverables with high autonomy.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret MEP/architectural blueprints.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu and familiarity with IoT technologies (e.g., automatic shut-off valves, flow sensors) are assets.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and building codes in British Columbia.
  • Familiarity with Canadian and American regulatory requirements related to mechanical systems.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or PMP certification is considered an asset.

  • Work on a proprietary platform leveraging construction IoT to directly tackle the $1.5 trillion in annual risk and loss in the built environment.
  • See your products and innovation immediately translated into tangible results: boosting productivity and mitigating risk across major global construction projects, including in North America, the Middle East, Australia, and Latin America.
  • Shape the future of our platform's evolution, from next-generation sensor designs to scalable enterprise SaaS features.

  • Thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven culture where the best ideas win, not the loudest titles. We value decisive action and ownership.
  • We trust our experts. You will have a high degree of autonomy to own projects from concept through deployment, directly contributing to our growth.
  • Learn and grow alongside a team of domain experts who are dedicated to mutual success and professional excellence.

  • We offer a competitive base salary ($90,000 to $110,000 CAD), and annual performance incentives.
  • A robust equity package, making you an owner of Brickeye so that you can share in our success.
  • Enjoy a truly flexible work environment that prioritizes delivery and results over rigid clock-watching. We don't mind if you need to run to a mid-day appointment or pick up your kid early from school.
  • Competitive medical, and dental benefits.

Brickeye is proud to be headquartered at 155 Gordon Baker Rd #301, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M2H 3N5.
