About the Role

The individual program planning (IPP) teacher supports children with individualized needs by writing and managing IPPs, and working collaboratively with classroom teams and support staff.

Responsibilities

→Create and manage Individual Program Plans (IPPs) tailored to each child's developmental goals.
→Collaborate with families, therapists, educational assistants, and other professionals to ensure each child’s success.
→Build trusting relationships with children, caregivers, and team members.
→Complete essential documentation: IPPs, transition plans, and referrals.

A Bachelor of Education and an Alberta Teaching Certificate (interim or permanent).
Passion and experience in inclusive education and neurodiversity.
A strengths-based mindset and a commitment to building inclusive classrooms.
Comfort adapting to dynamic environments with a flexible, team-first attitude.
Experience or training in play-based learning and child-led exploration.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Standard First Aid with Child CPR certification.
