Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Maintain license and certification requirements, adhering to ethical standards and guidelines set forth by professional organizations such as the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
- →Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to create supportive and effective environments for the child
- →Monitor and evaluate the progress of intervention plans, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes
- →Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, intervention plans, and progress notes
- → Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures of the organization
- → Contribute to program development and clinical quality initiatives for the organization
Requirements
~1 min read- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Registered member, in good standing with the ACOT.
- Specialization or experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to positively impact the lives of the families we serve.
- Valid Alberta driver’s license, access to a vehicle during work hours, and willingness to drive to BrightPath centers throughout Calgary.
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
- School year contract position. Must have their own insurance.
