Senior Lead, Quality Engineer

About the Role We are looking for an experienced QA Lead to drive quality strategy, test automation, security validation, and production readiness for enterprise AI and digital platforms. You will lead end-to-end quality engineering across APIs, cloud services, AI and agent workflows, enterprise integrations, identity controls, observability, and governance processes in a regulated environment. What You Will DoLead Quality Strategy

Define the overall QA strategy, test approach, quality gates, and release criteria.

Lead test planning, execution, defect management, reporting, and production-readiness sign-off.

Coordinate delivery across engineering, security, infrastructure, operations, architecture, and business teams.

Drive End-to-End Testing

Lead functional, integration, API, regression, automation, and user acceptance testing.

Validate AI and agent workflows, enterprise content retrieval, identity and authorization, policy enforcement, and human-approval processes.

Cover positive, negative, fail-closed, resiliency, and no-bypass scenarios.

Coordinate Security and Compliance Validation

Coordinate SAST, DAST, SCA, container, dependency, vulnerability, and secrets-scanning activities.

Track findings through remediation, retesting, evidence capture, and formal closure.

Partner with Cyber Security, Risk, Compliance, and Architecture stakeholders.

Own Performance and Reliability Testing

Lead load, stress, scalability, concurrency, capacity, and performance testing.

Validate failover, recovery, rollback, and operational resilience.

Establish measurable performance baselines and release thresholds.

Validate Production Readiness

Confirm monitoring, alerting, logs, distributed tracing, audit evidence, dashboards, and support procedures.

Validate deployment, rollback, incident response, business continuity, and disaster recovery readiness.

Ensure all mandatory evidence is complete before production promotion.

What You Bring

8–12+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, or Quality Engineering leadership.

Experience leading enterprise-scale testing programs and distributed delivery teams.

Strong background in API, integration, cloud-platform, and security testing.

Hands-on experience with test automation, CI/CD, performance engineering, and defect governance.

Experience working with architects, cyber-security teams, operations leaders, and senior stakeholders.

Experience in BFSI or another regulated industry is strongly preferred.

Technical Skills API & Integration Postman, REST Assured, Swagger/OpenAPI, ReadyAPI, API gateways and microservices Automation Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks Performance JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, Gatling, or equivalent tools Cloud & DevOps Microsoft Azure, containers, CI/CD pipelines, source control, and release automation Security SAST, DAST, SCA, dependency, container, and secrets-scanning fundamentals Data & Observability SQL/data validation and tools such as Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or equivalent Preferred Experience

Testing AI, GenAI, Copilot, chatbot, or agent-based solutions.

Identity and access management, OAuth/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC, and workload-identity validation.

Enterprise observability, auditability, compliance evidence, and DevSecOps practices.

MCP-based integrations, retrieval workflows, or governed enterprise connectors.
