About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Box Truck Driver to join our operations team. This role is responsible for safely operating company box trucks to transport products and materials between company locations, customers, vendors, and other designated destinations. When not driving, this position will support general warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, receiving, stocking, and organizing inventory. The ideal candidate has previous box truck and warehouse experience, a strong driving record, and is comfortable performing hands-on physical work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Safely operate company box trucks to transport products, inventory, and materials to designated locations.
- →Complete local pickup and delivery routes accurately and on schedule.
- →Load and unload trucks safely while ensuring products are properly secured to prevent damage during transportation.
- →Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- →Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and other required records.
- →Assist with receiving, stocking, picking, staging, and organizing warehouse inventory.
- →Use pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- →Verify products and quantities during pickups and deliveries to ensure accuracy.
- →Follow DOT requirements, traffic laws, OSHA regulations, and company safety procedures.
- →Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles and warehouse work areas.
- →Collaborate with warehouse and operations team members to meet daily shipping, receiving, and delivery goals.
- →Perform other warehouse and delivery-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
~1 min read- 2+ years of experience driving a box truck, delivery vehicle, or similar commercial vehicle preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material-handling experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license and a clean/satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to safely operate a box truck and navigate local delivery routes.
- Experience loading, unloading, and securing products for transportation.
- Familiarity with pallet jacks, hand trucks, RF scanners, or similar warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle products throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
