Pay Band: 6 No. of positions: 1 Country/Location: China Department: Exams Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract Local- 2 years Closing Date: 27th May 2026 Role Purpose: IT Project Manager is responsible for managing the delivery governance and execution rhythm of product and engineering projects. The role ensures that product initiatives and software delivery work are planned, tracked and delivered in a structured, transparent and controlled way through effective agile project management, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk management and stakeholder communication. The role is also responsible for supporting outsourced product and engineering resource workload tracking, delivery evidence verification and monthly settlement coordination where applicable. Main Accountabilities: This role is ideal for a highly organised and delivery-focused professional who thrives in agile environments and enjoys working across multicultural, cross-functional teams. Reporting to the Head of Product & Engineering, you will manage end-to-end project delivery activities, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities. You will oversee delivery planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, risk control, reporting, and project closure while maintaining strong governance and transparency throughout the project lifecycle. You will play a key role in driving agile delivery practices across product and engineering teams by supporting backlog readiness, sprint planning, sprint tracking, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Developers, QA, UX/UI teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors, you will ensure delivery priorities, timelines, responsibilities, and dependencies are clearly aligned and effectively managed. The role also requires close oversight of product requirements and engineering execution, ensuring user stories, acceptance criteria, technical dependencies, testing readiness, and release activities are accurately tracked from planning through deployment. You will proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies through structured RAID management, identifying blockers early, coordinating mitigation actions, and escalating critical risks where necessary. As part of the delivery governance function, you will prepare regular delivery reports, sprint summaries, milestone updates, management dashboards, and executive-level reporting to provide clear visibility of project health and progress. You will also maintain high-quality project documentation including project plans, meeting records, decision logs, action trackers, release readiness documentation, and closure reports in line with internal governance standards and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will contribute to continuous improvement across project delivery processes by identifying opportunities to enhance agile practices, collaboration between product and engineering teams, reporting transparency, governance standards, and documentation quality. The successful candidate will have proven experience managing IT or software delivery projects in agile environments, strong stakeholder management and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities across technical and business teams. Experience working with international organisations, outsourced vendors, or distributed teams will be highly valued. Qualification & Experience and other requirements: * English C1 (Aptis, IELTS 6 or equivalent) * Chinese C1 (or HSK 5) * Bachelor’s Degree with relevant technical certification * Prefer to have PMP certification * Minimum 3 years’ experience in product delivery, software project management, agile project management, PMO or technology delivery management. At least two years of work experience in IT industry * Familiar with agile delivery methods such as Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, backlog tracking, review and retrospective.
