Millwright/SAP Coordinator

Position Summary

The Millwright / SAP Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and aligning industrial machinery and equipment while accurately entering and managing maintenance data within SAP. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, and proficiency with computer systems to support maintenance planning, work order management, and inventory control.

Position Summary

The Millwright / SAP Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and aligning industrial machinery and equipment while accurately entering and managing maintenance data within SAP. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, and proficiency with computer systems to support maintenance planning, work order management, and inventory control.

• →Install, align, dismantle, and relocate industrial machinery and equipment.
• →Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on rotating and stationary equipment.
• →Troubleshoot and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, motors, bearings, compressors, and other mechanical systems.
• →Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• →Perform precision alignments using laser alignment and precision measuring instruments.
• →Conduct inspections and identify equipment deficiencies or reliability concerns.
• →Assist in planned outages, shutdowns, and turnaround activities.
• →Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.

• →Create, update, and close maintenance work orders in SAP.
• →Enter accurate equipment history and maintenance records into SAP.
• →Maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs), equipment master data, and maintenance notifications.
• →Track labor hours, repair activities, and equipment downtime.
• →Generate reports and analyze maintenance data to support reliability improvements.
• →Monitor spare parts inventory and assist with material requisitions.
• →Support maintenance planners and supervisors with scheduling and reporting activities.
• →Utilize Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and SAP for daily maintenance documentation and communication.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Journeyman Millwright certification preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and data entry accuracy.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor for extended periods.

Ability to work in various

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Journeyman Millwright certification preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) module preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and data entry accuracy.
