Brown & Root is seeking qualified SPRAT or IRATA Level 1 and Level 2 Rope Access Insulators to perform industrial insulation activities utilizing rope access methods.

Responsibilities

→Remove, repair, fabricate, and install industrial insulation systems while working from rope access systems.
→Perform insulation work on piping, vessels, equipment, and other industrial components.
→Install and remove insulation jacketing and weatherproofing as required.
→Safely establish and maintain rope access work positions in accordance with company and SPRAT/IRATA requirements.
→Inspect and properly use assigned rope access and craft equipment.
→Follow site safety requirements, permits, JSAs, and direction from Rope Access Level 3 supervision.
→Maintain high standards of workmanship, housekeeping, and material control.

QUALIFICATIONS May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Will require some independent decision making and ability to lead and direct a crew(s) in a safe and efficient manner. Typically will report to a manager.
