A.S. Bryden - Van Salesman (Internal Vacancy)

This role is focused on driving the company vehicle, selling and promoting the Company's products and providing good customer service on the trade.

Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Distribution, promotion and sales of the Division's products on the assigned route, while continuously seeking new opportunities for introducing products to customers
• Continually maintaining working knowledge of all Company products, services, pricing and promotions
• Collecting cash and cheques for goods sold and submitting same to the Company on a daily basis
• Merchandising of Company’s products daily
• Responsible for cleaning of all company displays and products in store
• Ensuring proper and adequate placement/replacement of displays where necessary
• Maintaining good relationships with customers, making recommendations according to the customer's needs
• Handling customer questions and complaints with the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
• Responsible for assigned stock, ensuring that all products are kept in good condition and are secured at all times
• Responsible for handling all product returns within the Truck and store, which includes close to expire, banding, expired, damaged and infested.
• Responsible for ensuring proper maintenance and upkeep of the Company's vehicle

Knowledge and Experience:

• A minimum of 3 CXC passes, which must include Mathematics and English Language
• At minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a sales environment
• A minimum of two (2) years Heavy T driving experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
