Tutor (Part-Time)
Location: Montgomery, AL (In-person)
Compensation: $15–$25/hr based on subject and experience
Schedule: Flexible – Afternoon/Evening & Some Saturday Hours Available (Mon-Friday 1:30pm-9:30PM, Saturday 8am-3:30pm)

We're hiring flexible, high-impact tutors for all grade levels. Whether your strengths are in early childhood literacy, middle school math, or high school science and ACT prep — we want to meet you! You’ll be placed based on your expertise and our current student needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Tutor K–12 students in foundational subjects like reading, writing, and math
- Reinforce classroom concepts, support with homework/test prep, and model strong study habits
- Use manipulatives, online tools, and positive reinforcement to engage students
- Receive curriculum support and plan sessions accordingly based on each student’s academic goals
- Lead one-on-one and small group sessions (2–5 students)
- Submit brief session notes and track student growth
- Build rapport, celebrate wins, and hold students accountable
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong academic performers (Magnet, AP, or Honors background preferred)
- Experience working with youth or tutoring
- Strong communicator with patience, professionalism, and a great sense of humor
- Ability to work independently once trained – we provide support but trust you to lead
- Confident in both ELA and Math
Bonus: Experience with special education, ELL students, test prep (ACT, ACAP), or science subjects.
