We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapy Associate to support our team in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our therapy services. The ideal candidate will be passionate about rehabilitation, possess excellent organizational skills, and be committed to patient safety and satisfaction.
- Assist therapist (PT) during initial assessments by accurately documenting findings and patient information as directed.
- Deliver physiotherapy treatments as prescribed and under the direct or indirect supervision of a PT, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
- Monitor and record patient progress and any changes in clinical condition or treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
- Strictly adhere to all safety handling procedures and infection control measures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate therapy treatment records.
- To conduct patient satisfaction surveys and gather feedback on therapy services upon completion of treatment, discharge, or cancellation of services.
- Efficiently manage daily caseloads and prepare client schedules in close consultation with the PT.
- Conduct stock checks of rehabilitation items, reporting any missing or damaged inventory to the Centre Manager.
- Maintain meticulous records of all equipment maintenance checks and stock levels.
- Perform maintenance checks on exercise therapy equipment, documenting their condition in the record book for centre manager review and follow-up.
- Promptly report any damaged equipment to the Centre Manager for repair or replacement.
- Ensure timely servicing of electrical therapy equipment by external vendors on a bi-annual basis, and maintain organized service reports for audit purposes.
Requirements
~1 min read1 Diploma or Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Foreign trained of their country origin)
2 Computer skills ( MS word / excel ) if any ( added advantage)
3 At least six *(6) months of local work experience in Musculoskeletal Community settings.
