Receiver - Building Materials

Receiver - Building Materials Layton, Utah  This role combines hands on work with attention to detail, receiving incoming materials, organizing product, and keeping track of inventory in a fast-paced environment.  If your dependable, organized, and like staying active while using your problem-solving skills, this is a great opportunity with steady hours and room to grow.     Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.  Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents. Records factors causing goods to be returned. Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage. Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.   Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
