Warehouse Supervisor

Now Hiring: Warehouse Supervisor Sidney, MT   Directs the activities of warehouse personnel, including receiving, stocking, load building, customer service and deliveries.   Supervises assigned employees including staff selection and training; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Oversees the safe and efficient handling of goods by employees operating forklifts or other machinery ensuring that employees receive the proper training and certification, if necessary. Oversees and coordinates periodic inventory checks; prepares merchandise orders to ensure that identified stock levels meet merchandising requirements at all times; maintains record keeping system to provide immediate access to current stock information when needed. On occasion, will perform the same duties as other yard personnel.   Minimum Requirements:   High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and five or more years of experience performing and coordinating yard or warehousing activities, or equivalent combination of education and experience.     Work Environment / Physical Activity:   Work is performed primarily in an outdoor yard environment, subject to variations in temperature and weather, equipment noise and dust. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds. May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.
