About the Role

The Quality Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring high standards across our operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage quality assurance and compliance in a food manufacturing environment to ensure products meet quality and food safety standards.
  • Maintain and implement Quality Management Systems procedures, schedules, registers, HACCP Plans, logs and documentation as well as record keeping.
  • Advising management, operations, laboratory, and sales teams on day-to-day product quality issues.
  • Educating site personnel in quality, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), CCPs and procedures through training and awareness sessions.
  • Drive a positive quality and food safety culture and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Scheduling and completing internal, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and safety audits.
  • Investigate non-conformances and maintain the corrective and preventative action register to ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Lead external audits including the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety and other relevant standard audits.
  • Monitor and review Quality Objectives and generate reports.
  • Manage a team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years hands-on experience in Quality Assurance management and BRC standard or equivalent GFSI standard in a food manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and quality management systems.
