ABOUT THE POSITION

Senior Accountant at BURGA is more than just a title - it’s a front-row seat to the evolution of a brand that’s taking the world by storm. You'll be at the heart of an extremely versatile and fast-paced environment, where new collections, campaigns, and product launches will keep you sharp and excited.

Your Role: be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency at every step. You’ll manage the full spectrum of accounting activities, from overseeing daily operations to preparing precise financial statements that guide strategic decisions. Your expertise will keep our books in perfect order, optimize processes, and ensure smooth collaboration across teams. Whether it’s navigating complex tax regulations, managing audits, or streamlining systems, your work will safeguard our financial health and empower the company’s growth.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.

- Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

- Coordinate and facilitate external audits.

- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payments.

- Manage company treasury, ensuring efficient cash usage.

-Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient delivery of financial reporting and analysis.

-Additionally, you will be responsible for transactions with the payment gateways, production accounting, handling sales taxes / VAT in the EU, USA, Canada, Australia, and Japan, managing customs procedures, and packaging taxes in Lithuania and the EU.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years of experience.

- Experience working within the e-commerce or production industry, requiring at least 3 years.

- In-depth knowledge of Business accounting principles (VAS), IFRS, practices, and regulations.

- Proficiency in accounting software and experience with Business Central 365 (NAV) platform is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Perfect English and Lithuanian language skills.

SALARY: 4100 - 4500 EUR/Month GROSS. We’re open to discussing it based on your skills and competencies.
