Provide insights on reconciliation, stock governance, commissions, operational KPIs and commercial performance.
Identify trends, performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
Support leadership with data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
2. Reconciliation & Operational Governance
Monitor reconciliation performance against agreed SLAs and governance standards.
Analyse reconciliation exceptions, ageing, open serials and operational backlogs.
Support month-end and year-end operational closure activities.
Recommend corrective and preventive actions to strengthen financial and operational controls.
3. Business Data Validation & Assurance
Validate consistency of sales related data across the various platforms including Nexus, Navision, BUISY, Metabase and operational reports.
Investigate data inconsistencies, posting anomalies and system exceptions affecting business reporting.
Partner with BI, Software and ERP teams to resolve identified issues.
Validate business reports before operational and executive use.
4. Operational Risk & Compliance
Monitor operational risks including unreconciled sales, stock exposure, commission exceptions and reporting inconsistencies.
Maintain the Sales Operations Operational Risk Register and track mitigation actions.
Monitor compliance with Sales Operations SOPs and recommend improvements.
Support internal audits, control reviews and governance initiatives.
5. Business Insights & Continuous Improvement
Produce analytical insights on commission performance, agent productivity, inventory trends and operational efficiency.
Identify automation opportunities and support implementation of process improvements.
Perform root cause analysis for recurring operational issues and recommend sustainable solutions.
Support system enhancements and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for operational initiatives.
6. Cross-Functional Business Initiatives Support
Partner with Commercial, Finance, BI, Software, ERP, Logistics and Carbon teams to resolve operational issues.
Translate business requirements into analytical and system improvement opportunities.
Support strategic projects, market rollouts and operational change initiatives.
Present operational insights, risks and recommendations to management and key stakeholders.
7. Reporting & Decision Support
Prepare and validate weekly and monthly operational performance packs.
Develop management reports highlighting key operational trends, risks and opportunities.
Support Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), audits and executive presentations.
Ensure timely delivery of accurate, reliable and actionable operational information.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Information Systems or a related field.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Sales Operations, Business Analytics, Commercial Operations or a similar analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Power BI or SQL is an added advantage.
Experience working with ERP and business intelligence platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and presentation skills.
