Grants & Finance Accountant – Nonprofit Arts Organization

• →Reconcile bank accounts and financial records.
• →Track and reconcile grant funding with organizational expenditures.
• →Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with nonprofit accounting standards.
• →Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting.
• →Manage general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• →Process accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed.
• →Assist with financial audits and year-end reporting.
• →Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting policies and grant requirements.
• →Collaborate with leadership regarding financial planning and reporting.

• Previous experience in nonprofit accounting required.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Aplos Accounting Software is required.
• Experience reconciling grant funding and restricted funds.
• Strong understanding of nonprofit accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience preparing financial statements for nonprofit organizations.
• Knowledge of nonprofit grant management and reporting requirements.
