Role: Fulfilment Lead Operator - Twilight shift (6pm-12am)

Location: Blyth, Worksop
Salary: £15.76 per hour
Hours: We are pleased to say, this is a permanent contract, you will be working a rolling average of 115 paid hrs per pay period (4 weekly), 6 hr shifts per day minus 15 mins unpaid break working on a shift pattern of Sun-Thu 6pm-midnight.

We’ve come a long way since our co-founders (Kev & Dave), hand delivered the very first Butternut Box. Today, we feed hundreds of thousands of hungry dogs across the UK and Europe - but we won’t stop until we’re feeding dogs everywhere. To get there, we need a team of brilliant people who share that ambition to come and work for us.
- Be accountable for the timely fulfilment of high-quality customer orders
- Provide supervision and support to the fulfilment team in order to meet key operational metrics of quality, packing accuracy and packing rates
- Assist the Team Leader by monitoring & improving your teams performance in order to achieve growth and accuracy in a supportive environment
- Work in a safe way following all appropriate safety procedures by maintaining a tidy and hygienic working environment.
- Point of contact for Team Leader for regular performance review meetings
- Occasional attendance and contribution at daily review meetings
- Other general tasks waste processing, order packing etc.
- Work to relevant standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Work well with multiple functional teams including Engineering, Technical, Production and Warehousing.
- Previous experience as a line leader or area leader within the food manufacturing sector (preferred)
- Ability to read and communicate confidently in English
- Numerate (able to understand and work with numbers)
- Hard-working & diligent with a hunger to learn
- Flexible, pragmatic, resilient & humble
- Committed to food quality & safety
- Loves dogs (naturally)
What We Offer
~2 min read- Initial call with your dedicated Talent Acquisition Partner, carried out remotely.
- Skills/Behaviours interview, usually carried out in person.
- This role is 100% based in our kitchen in Blyth, Doncaster
- You might know this role as a Machine Operator, Machine Technician, Manufacturing Technician but in Butternut, we call this a Skilled Operator.
