Adjunct Teaching - Department of Art - 2D Studio and Painting Courses

Minimum BA/BFA degree required; Terminal degree (MFA or equivalent) preferred.  The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

Minimum one year of university-level teaching in Art, or equivalent related experience.

• Curriculum prep and training in December 2026.
• Beginning in January, teach the following courses:
  • ART 101 - Introduction to Art and Drawing for Nonmajors
  • ART 102 - Introduction to Art : 2D
  • ART 110 - Introduction to Painting for Nonmajors
  • ART 215 - Painting Fundamentals
  • ART 327 - Painting
• Courses assigned may be taught day or evening.
• Adjunct faculty will use department-approved syllabi and materials for the courses, and will mentor the students in their class(es).
