Adjunct Teaching - Kennedy Center - LAS 211: Intro to Latin American Studies (Evening School)

Master's Degree is required, preferably in a related field. The required degree must be completed by the start date. 

• Experience teaching Latin American topics.
• Ability to create curriculum that is current and relevant to the changing cultural and political environment in Latin American countries.
• Experience in adapting curriculum to meet specific audience needs.
• Strong familiarity with the key concepts outlined in the approved course curriculum.

• Prepare and teach all aspects of the course, including in-class lectures, assessments, and assignments.
• Regular communication with the LAS Academic Program Director.
• Meet all standards outlined for faculty at Brigham Young University.
• Willingness to collaborate with coordinators and department chair of affiliated programs (including Spanish and Portuguese)
