- Show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring.
- Prior experience teaching psychology—particularly a research and analysis course—is preferred.
- Teach PSYCH 320: Developmental Psych: Childhood
- Have the knowledge and ability to teach the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children from the prenatal period through late childhood, including major theories, research methods, and developmental processes across biological, cognitive, and social domains.
- Support students in applying developmental concepts through active learning, research-based assignments, and applied experiences.
- Candidates should prepare students to critically evaluate and integrate research in developmental psychology and to think critically about factors influencing normative development and risk for psychopathology.
- Instruction should emphasize critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and real-world application.

- This course will be taught as an in-person class MWF 10:00-10:50AM during Winter Semester 2027.
