Position: Brake Press Operator
Location: West Columbia, SC
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 (depending on experience)
Shift: 1st | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

About the Role

Carolina Industrial Staffing is seeking an EXPERIENCED Brake Press Operator for a valued client in West Columbia, SC. This is an established company seeking talented and driven individuals looking to excel and sharpen their skills.

Requirements:
 

• High school diploma or GED 
• 2+ years' experience in set up and operation of press brakes
• Minimum of 2-3 years CNC machining experience
• Demonstrated math and blueprint reading ability
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to follow written instructions accurately
• Reliable transportation and strong punctuality required
• Demonstrate above average mechanical aptitude
• Have proficient understanding of decimals and fractions
• Ability to convert between metric and US standard units of measure
• Experience operating the Trumpf or Salvagnini machine is a plus
• Previous brazing or welding experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience using various measuring devices, including but not limited to tape measures, height gauges, and calipers
