ATCO Structures & Logistics is looking to hire a registered Electrician Apprentice (3rd Year, 4th Year)/ Journeyman to join our Calgary and Rockyview Manufacturing Plant. Under the guidance of a Lead Hand or Journeyperson, the Apprentice Electrician is responsible for the wiring of modular units from rough to finishing. This is a union-based role. Location will be Calgary and Rockyview Location

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and or wiring modular units from rough-in, to finishing
  • Assisting in and or installation of wiring units, panels, and fixtures
  • Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts.
  • Troubleshoot and test all electrical wiring units and fixtures in modular units.
  • Perform quality inspections and inspect tools and the shop.
  • Use hands and power tools.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Actively registered Apprentice Electrician 3rd or 4th year or a journeyman.
  • Previous experience with modular units is considered an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to work safely with a wide variety of hand and power tools as well as materials.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
