Simulator Technician IV

• Diagnose and correct complex problems on training devices

• Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

• Utilize Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.

• Provide technical training for other technicians.

• Perform daily readiness checks on designated simulators

• Effectively supports the technical teams with re-qualification of all simulators 

• Able to function as a Subject Matter Expert on at least 1 disciplines

• To supervise the carrying out of Qualification Test Guides and supply documentation as and when required by the appropriate Authority or as necessary

• Assist Engineering Team with modifications, design changes, and software enhancements.

• Perform refurbishment and hardware modifications.

• Actively pursue knowledge and skills to enhance ability as a technical expert.

• Perform software changes to correct problems on the simulators and associated simulator systems.

• Coordinate all maintenance activities within an assigned group and / or project.

• Assist Group Lead and/or Maintenance Planner & Controller in day-to-day operation of maintenance activities.

• Learn and comply with CAE Compliance Management System.

• Provide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner.

• Perform logistics duties, including parts received, repair, and testing/validation.

• Perform housekeeping functions to maintain the simulators as required.

• Perform administrative tasks as required.

• Perform tasks to support the technical services group as required.

• Is compliant with local and company Health, Safety and Environment rules and regulations.

• Perform other duties as assigned
