Registered Nurse - Home Care

As a member of the Calvary Home Care team and as an experienced RN, you will provide care to high acuity clients from various short term/long terms programs. You will provide complex care to all clients by working both independently and as part of a team. • →Administration of IV, IM, SC and PO medications
• →IV Cannulation, PICC line and Infusaport care
• →Simple and Complex wound care including compression and NPWT
• →Drain care
• →Male, Female and Supra Pubic Catheter Care and Education
• →Accurate/Timely documentation in all client records.
• →Appropriate communication within the clinical team to ensure appropriate care is provided.
• →Complete initial assessments/develop care plans to ensure best outcome for our clients.
• →Monitor and update care plans to ensure appropriate care is provided
• →Deliver education to client and families to enable best possible outcome.
• →Recognise and respond to clinical deterioration, with appropriate escalation.

• Current AHPRA Nursing
• Minimum 1 year acute experience
• NDIS Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)
• Police Clearance within 6 months (or willingness to obtain one)
• Use of own car – KM allowance provided
• Full drivers licence, reliable and comprehensively insured car
• CPR and Manual handling competency
• Candidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourably
