Acuren is seeking CWB Level 1 and Level 2 Inspectors to support our Fall turnaround at our client site CNRL Albian in Fort McMurray, AB.

Start Date: September 14th, 2026
Projects rotation on a 6/1 rotation, 12 hour shifts
CNRL Albian site
Fly-in/Fly-out from Alberta hubs, Edmonton or Calgary
Camp Accommodations Provided

Responsibilities

→Observes work in progress to assure conformance with requirements and acceptable workmanship
→Inspection of process piping, power piping and structures from material verification stage to final commissioning and installation
→Utilizes applicable procedures, codes, and standards to evaluate test and inspection reports, recommending acceptable or rejection/or rejection
→Experience reviewing Work Scope Packages
→Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Requirements

Required to have a CWB 1 or 2. QC experience is an asset.
IRATA Certificate required or willing to relocate
Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, VIII.Div.1, IX,II, CSA W47.1 and W59.3 codes is an asset
Knowledge of NDT methods (x-ray/radiographic, mag-particle, liquid penetrant, etc.,) is an asset
Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies
