Role - Transaction Management Lead
Provide leadership for transaction management readiness within a T+1 programme, shaping target-state processes, controls, and execution across the post-trade lifecycle.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the transaction management workstream across change impact assessment, process design, operational readiness, and implementation planning.
- →Define priorities and decision frameworks across trade capture, matching, settlement instruction management, exception handling, fails management, and cut-off management.
- →Partner with operations, product, technology, and programme leadership to align business outcomes, delivery milestones, and risk mitigation actions.
- →Oversee the design and execution of operational controls, runbooks, and Day 1 / Day 2 support models for transaction management processes.
- →Review operational impacts related to FX dependencies, liquidity, client funding requirements, and market cut-offs
- →Produce clear operational documentation, support training preparation, and ensure user readiness
- →Assess dependencies across FX, liquidity, client funding, market deadlines, and downstream servicing impacts to ensure an integrated T+1 operating model.
- →Provide executive-level stakeholder management, governance input, and strategic challenge across client and internal leadership forums.
- →Coach delivery teams and SMEs, ensuring high-quality outputs, pragmatic decisions, and sustainable transformation outcomes.
- Experience in securities services, transaction management, settlements, or post-trade transformation.
- Deep domain knowledge across trade lifecycle processing, settlement operations, exception management, and operational risk / control design.
- Strong understanding of settlement flows, transaction management processes, and corporate action/income events
- Ability to analyse dependencies across FX, liquidity, and funding
- Demonstrated leadership of large change programmes or workstreams involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and delivery teams.
- Strong consulting and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior clients and programme sponsors.
- Experience translating complex operational and market changes into executable delivery plans and business decisions.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Prior leadership experience on T+1, T+0, CSDR, market infrastructure, or operational resilience programmes.
- Knowledge of global custody networks, pre-matching, penalties, and market practice change across regions.
- Experience leading target operating model design or large-scale operational transformation.
- Exposure to workflow redesign, controls uplift, or operational risk assessments
- Consulting background or prior involvement in complex change programmes
- Track record of managing stakeholders and supporting sustainable transformation
Programme context: All roles sit within a T+1 change environment spanning securities services business analysis, operational readiness, and testing, with close dependency on custody, settlements, asset servicing, transaction management, FX, liquidity, and client funding considerations.
