Technology Internship Program - Mexico - 2027

Key Role Details

• This is a part-time paid Academic Year internship program spanning eight months from August 2027 through March 2028.  
• Participation in the internship requires that you are located in Mexico City with in-person attendance at your assigned location, with the ability to work 24 hours per week, in accordance with Capital One’s hybrid working model, for the duration of the program.
• Interns must complete the entirety of the internship to be evaluated for a full-time position within our Technology Development Program - Mexico , with a start date of August 2028. 

Basic Qualifications

• Intermediate-Advanced English fluency
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher with the expectation that you will complete your most recent full-time degree program between December 2027 and August 2028. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced programming skills or experience in one or more of the following areas: Go, Kotlin, Python, Java, HTML, Swift, XML, JSON, UML, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripts, Objective C, C#, C/C++, Perl, .net, asp.net, Visual Basic 
• Hands on technical experience through activities such as: technical internship, part-time technical role, STEM teaching assistant, or technical research
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity, utilizing capabilities beyond basic code completion

As a Software Engineer in the Technology Internship Program - Mexico, you may work on everything from customer-facing web and mobile applications using cutting-edge open source frameworks, to highly-available RESTful services, to back-end Java based systems using the hottest techniques in Big Data. Our engineers work in a "You Build It, You Own It" full stack environment supporting an exciting and innovative tech stack composed of: Java, React, Angular, Vue JS, C#, REST APIs, NoSQL database, Kubernetes, Terraform, GraphQL, SQL Jenkins, Docker, AWS cloud, Scala, Clojure, Typescript, Haskell, C++, golang, Scheme, Common Lisp, AI-powered development tools for accelerating development and continuously improving code quality, and more!
