Overview: 

Capstone’s 2027 Summer Quant Internship is a ten-week program designed to provide interns with practical exposure to the firm’s Quant team and broader working environment. Interns will support the team’s day-to-day activities while completing a defined project designed to provide a meaningful learning experience and address a relevant business need. 

We are seeking intellectually curious, analytical, and motivated candidates with a demonstrated interest in financial markets and investment management. During the program, interns may gain exposure to investment research, market analysis, quantitative methods, data analysis, automation, and other areas relevant to the work of the Quant team. 

Our future colleague has these skills: 

• Currently enrolled in a master’s or PhD program in a quantitative discipline, such as Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in statistical analysis. 

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, with the ability to apply programming skills to data analysis, quantitative problem-solving, or related technical work. 

• Strong intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and the ability to contribute effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues. 
• A professional and accountable approach to work, with the ability to collaborate effectively and operate in a manner consistent with the firm’s culture and values. 

Do you possess these Bonus Skills: 

• Prior internship, academic, or professional experience within financial services, investment management, or a related field is preferred. 

• Intellectual curiosity, the openness to share ideas, humility, the highest ethical standards and a desire to excel are a few of the traits that it takes to thrive and be your best self at Capstone.

Benefits and Compensation Information:

Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
