- This role will support operations at a major grocery retailer by ensuring that delivery vehicles are available, clean, and properly positioned to be loaded for deliveries.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Move vans from Yard to Fulfillment center
- →Clean inside and outside of vans
- →Perform inspection of vehicles both before, and after, operation
- →Read work orders determine work assignments to identify appropriate equipment needs.
- →Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets
- →Ensure the yard is clean and organized
- →Assist Delivery Drivers when necessary
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL not required)
- One (1) year experience with yard jockeying preferred
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work with limited supervision
Requirements
~1 min read- Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to frequently get in and out of vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors and changing temperatures)
