The next evolution of healthcare requires flexible, agile teams to deliver high-tech, results-based solutions and support. Our team is here to help our customers tackle the initiatives and challenges on their organizational roadmap, and give clinicians, operational teams, and researchers access to the data they need to take care of their patients and improve health outcomes.

Cardamom is cultivating a multidisciplinary team of exceptional individuals with diverse skills and experiences in healthcare — data, analytics, AI, and EHR application experts. We are also passionate about growing the careers of those who may have little or no experience in these fields when the opportunity arises. Our team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, revenue cycle professionals, and certified application specialists would love for you to join us.

We are looking for a talented entry level Epic Analyst to join our team in October 2026. As an Epic Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. You will work as a part of a team-based culture to meet our client’s support needs while developing your skills and having fun!

As an Epic Analyst at Cardamom, you will:

• Collaborate with the Cardamom and Client Teams to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meeting deadlines with guidance from senior analysts.

• Provide excellent service to users and stakeholders by troubleshooting issues and offering solutions in Epic.

• Assist in gathering requirements, preparing specifications, and building Epic system configurations.

• Resolve moderate system issues by identifying root causes and applying solutions, escalating to senior analysts when needed.

• Maintain clear documentation for configurations, workflows, and processes.

• Follow change control processes for migrating system builds and ensure stability post changes.

• Support internal initiatives and special projects as needed.

• Ensure all work meets the agreed-upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for response times and issue resolution.

• Act as a liaison between users and teams to ensure smooth communication and improve system functionality.

• Assist with user training and support, helping end-users navigate and make the most of Epic functionality.

• Contribute to system testing and validation to ensure functionality aligns with user needs and business requirements.

Our ideal Epic Application Analyst will have:

• Must already be local to Madison, WI

• Problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail and a high sense of urgency

• Interest in healthcare IT

• Ability to obtain Epic certification within three months of start
