About Cardinal Health International India (CHII) :

This role is part of the Data Integration services team for Cardinal Health International India Pvt Ltd (CHII). This team is responsible for managing multiple integration platforms and integration artifacts across the organization. Team is focused on managing platforms and delivering data movement and data transformation solutions to support business critical operations and analytics.Cardinal Health International India (CHII) is part of the Cardinal Heath Global Technology and Business Services (GTBS) team. CHII leverages technology to offer scalable and healthcare solutions to enhance efficiency and improve quality of care across the value chain. What Application Development & Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health

Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
Application Development & Maintenance performs configuration or coding to develop, enhance and sustain the organization's software systems in a cross-functional team environment through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices. This job family programs and configures end user applications, systems, databases and websites to achieve the organization's internal needs and externally-facing business needs. Application Development & Maintenance partners with business leaders, investigates user needs and conducts regular assessments, maintenance and enhancements of existing applications.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Demonstrates expertise in required technology (Confluent Kafka) along with one or more integration technologies (ex.Qlik Attunity, Dell Boomi, and IBM DataStage, IIB/MQ)

· Knowledge in designing, developing, and successful implementation of enterprise scale integration solutions

· Knowledge with Google Cloud Platform and its components.

· Demonstrates willingness to learn new products/technologies and is an effective team player.

· Leverages fluency in technical languages, operating systems, application programming interfaces, and troubleshooting skills with respect to confluent Kafka platform.

· Communicates effectively with various cross functional and technology teams (app dev, deployment, testing, project) along with team and management.

· Knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.

· General understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies.

· Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.

· Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.

· Analyzes production system operations using tools such as Dynatrace/Splunk for capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications / Skills Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience

· Overall, 3-6 years of experience with various Data Integration technologies like Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ, Dell Boomi OR Attunity

· 2+ Years of Experience in JAVA and Springboot

· 2+ years of experience working with Kafka Development/support & Operations

· 2+ years working with One of relational databases (MS SQL, Oracle, IBM DB2, SAP HANA, etc.)

· 2+ years of Cloud experience (GCP)

· knowledge on orchestration and containerization tools such as Kubernetes and docker is required

· Knowledge of different open-source products/services related to Integration, Messaging, or API management technologies is preferred.

· Knowledge of Code, Configuration and Build management tools such as GIT, Concourse, Ansible and Jenkins is preferred.

· In-depth knowledge of all functionalities of Kafka

· Ability to Install, Maintain and troubleshoot Kafka related issues.

· Experience with messaging and stream processing on Kafka

· Knowledge on Automation and scripting

· Knowledge of Agile tools and methodologies

· Operating Systems: Windows and Linux
