What We Offer

✓40 hours per week.

✓Overnight shift: Monday – Friday. Typically an 8 hour shift with start time between 11:30 pm and 1:00 am

✓Will work every 6th weekend. Saturday and Sunday 2:00 am to 9:00 am

✓Will work holidays- typically every 6th holiday.

✓Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, rotations, come in early or stay late, hours or overtime based on business needs.

✓Prepares prescriptions by typing labels and obtain Staff Pharmacist approval

✓Draws doses into either a syringe or vial

✓Performs quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with Federal, State, Company and manufacturer's guidelines

✓Assists pharmacist in preparing facility for daily operations through cleaning, maintenance of inventory, restocking, and preparing reports and other records.

✓Assists and/or performs in the labeling of blood cell products

✓Follows standard operating procedures to organize, prepare and dispense radioactive medications, as specified by manufacturers and in line with customer needs.

✓Collects and processes customer orders to ensure efficient communication and timely delivery of medications to patients.

✓Performs administrative pharmacy tasks, such as billing, answering questions and assisting customers to facilitate pharmacy operations and customer satisfaction.

✓Maintains pharmacy safety through following and recording completion of daily infection control procedures.

✓Assists in training and development of staff through mentorship of pharmacy tech trainees.

✓Makes deliveries to customer locations as needed

✓Must be a registered pharmacy technician with state of Massachusetts and a nationally certified (PTCB) Pharmacy Technician

✓High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

✓1-2 years of experience, preferred

✓Past IV or nuclear pharmacy experience preferred

✓Valid driver's license and good driving record required

✓Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle required

✓Strong verbal and written communication skills

✓Strong customer service skills

✓Manual dexterity required for occasional reach, lifting and holding of small objects

✓Demonstrated manual dexterity to dispense doses

✓Ability to manage up to 75 pounds

✓Flexibility to work various shifts

✓Comfortable performing repetitive motions/tasks

✓Comfortable working in a nuclear environment

✓Ability to work weekends, holiday, on call or be in a weekend, holiday or on call rotation

✓Ability to work overtime with little or no advance notice

✓Intermediate computer skills (ability to use computers and tablets)
