Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

Florida Heart & Vascular is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiovascular team serving Broward County.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work across both outpatient clinic and hospital settings while gaining exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular subspecialties, including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, cardiac imaging, diagnostics, and preventive cardiology. Providers work alongside experienced cardiologists and APPs in a collaborative environment focused on delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.

• →Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in both clinic and hospital settings
• →Conduct new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, hospital rounding, and cardiovascular consults
• →Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, cardiac imaging, and stress testing
• →Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
• →Manage medications and provide patient and family education
• →Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
• →Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Cardiology experience preferred but not required
• New Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong interest in cardiovascular medicine
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care

• Monday–Friday primary schedule
• Approximately one weekend of call coverage per month
