Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

Carolina Heart Specialists is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established cardiology team in Lancaster, South Carolina.

This is a full-time, outpatient cardiology position offering a Monday–Friday schedule with no call responsibilities. You’ll join a collaborative team of seven cardiologists and experienced clinical staff in a practice focused on providing high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care.

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work alongside our cardiologists in the evaluation and ongoing management of patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluating and managing established and new cardiology patients

• Performing comprehensive cardiovascular assessments

• Developing and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with physicians

• Managing chronic cardiovascular conditions and follow-up care

• Reviewing diagnostic testing and clinical results

• Providing patient education and supporting continuity of care

• Collaborating closely with physicians and the clinical care team

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• 2+ years of direct cardiology experience strongly preferred

• Active South Carolina license or ability to obtain licensure

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative cardiology team
