Position Overview
Bay Area Cardiology Associates is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving the Greater Tampa region. This role includes a mix of clinic and hospital responsibilities with exposure to both bread-and-butter and complex coronary interventional procedures across affiliated hospitals and office locations.

Key responsibilities/services include:

Bread and butter, and complex coronary interventions
Peripheral vascular interventions (if experienced and interested)
Echocardiography and nuclear cardiology
Cardiac CT and TEE
Stress testing, consultations, and medication management
Inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care
STEMI Call requirements shared with other physicians

The incoming physician will work within state-of-the-art clinic and hospital facilities alongside a dedicated team of APPs, medical assistants, and administrative staff. Future growth opportunities when we open our future Ambulatory Surgical Center.

Shared call responsibilities provide balanced physician support and work-life integration with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Compensation includes a highly competitive base salary, production bonuses, additional incentives, clinical research (if interested), and equity.

Qualifications

Board Certified / Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
Completion of accredited Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, and Interventional Cardiology training programs
MD or DO
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Open to experienced physicians and current fellows
Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and continuous improvement
