Position Overview
Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) is seeking a full-time, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist to launch and lead a dedicated IR service line within an established, physician-led cardiovascular practice in Florida.

This is a rare 100% Outpatient Interventional Radiology opportunity operating out of a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and Office Based Lab (OBL). Designed for a physician who wants to focus on procedural care without the burnout of hospital shift work, this role offers complete schedule predictability alongside substantial financial upside through equity and partnership options.

Candidates have the flexibility to choose between Miami or Orlando, aligning their practice with their ideal Florida lifestyle.

Position Highlights & Clinical Scope
Work alongside a collaborative team of Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) supported by strong, existing procedural demand. APPs assist with care coordination, and follow-ups, allowing you to maximize your time in high-yield interventions.
Key Procedural Focus Areas
  • Peripheral & Venous Interventions: Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD - primary focus), May-Thurner Syndrome (iliac vein stenting), Venous Ablation for varicose veins, and IVC filter placements/removals.
  • Embolization & Oncology: Pelvic Congestion Syndrome Embolization, Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE), and Tumor Embolization.
  • Spine & Outpatient Procedures: Kyphoplasty, select spine injections, port placements, and outpatient drainages/aspirations.
  • Service Line Leadership: Drive the strategic development and expansion of IR offerings supported by an established cardiovascular referral base.

Practice Environment & Growth
  • Brand-New ASC Facility: Perform procedures in a modern, streamlined ambulatory surgical environment with dedicated clinical and administrative support.
  • Built-In Referral Base: Tap directly into an established cardiovascular patient pipeline, eliminating the friction of building a practice from scratch.
  • Program Development: Ideal for an entrepreneurial clinician interested in shaping operational workflows and adding new procedural offerings.

Schedule & Lifestyle
  • Full-Time: Monday – Friday, daytime hours only
  • Zero On-Call: No nights, no weekends, and no traditional hospital call
  • Work-Life Balance: Enjoy true operational control over your daily schedule

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Base Salary with high-yield, procedure-based incentive compensation
  • Generous Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance
  • Partnership Track with wealth-building equity opportunities through the CVAUSA network
  • Comprehensive healthcare, retirement, and professional liability coverage

Qualifications
  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (ABR/AOBR)
  • Active Florida Medical License (or eligibility)
  • Strong clinical and procedural skills with a commitment to patient-centered care
  • Collaborative mindset with an interest in expanding an outpatient IR service line
  • 5+ years of post-fellowship experience preferred, but well-qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, particularly for the Miami market

Location Options
Miami, FL
  • Vibrant South Florida lifestyle, world-class dining, beaches, and culture
  • High-density, diverse patient population with substantial vascular care demand
  • Major international travel hub (MIA) and no Florida state income tax
Orlando, FL

  • Thriving healthcare market driven by rapid population growth
