→Serve as a technical expert for Pepco-related underground and overhead distribution design standards, ensuring compliance across all deliverables.
→Lead and oversee Quality Assurance (QA) reviews for electrical design packages, verifying adherence to Pepco, DDOT, and local jurisdictional requirements.
→Develop and maintain engineering standards, checklists, and QA/QC procedures to promote consistency and best practices.
→Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
→Coordinate with clients, permitting agencies, and construction teams to resolve technical issues and improve design efficiency.
→Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in electrical distribution design, with direct Pepco experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in standards development, QA/QC, and design review for utility projects.
Strong understanding of NESC, NEC, and Pepco distribution standards.
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
