Fundamental Language Research Scientist - Generative AI

Meta is looking for a Research Scientist to join their Large Language Model (LLM) Research team in Boise, Idaho. This role seeks recognized experts in generative AI and NLP, particularly those with expertise in areas such as language model evaluation, data processing, responsible LLMs, alignment, reinforcement learning, efficient training, and multilingual and multimodal modeling. The Research Scientist will lead, collaborate on, and execute research projects to advance large language model research, contribute to experiments, work with a global team, publish findings, and identify ambitious research goals for Meta's product development. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, a PhD in AI or related fields, relevant industry or research experience, publications in machine learning, and proficiency in executing experiments with large AI models and datasets. Preferred qualifications encompass direct experience in generative AI, prior AI research roles, first-author publications at AI conferences, and Python development skills.
