Network Developer

The role involves providing essential support for the design, deployment, and management of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment. The primary focus is on network fabric and system development, necessitating a deep understanding of networking protocols and strong programming skills to facilitate the automation required for operating a production environment efficiently. The responsibilities encompass network lifecycle management, participation in network projects and upgrades, executing network changes, contributing to project and sprint planning, enhancing documentation, assisting in team onboarding, and engaging in network solution design reviews. Additionally, the position involves participating in operational rotations, offering break-fix support, and conducting root cause analysis when necessary. Automation plays a crucial role, requiring the development of scripts to streamline routine manual tasks within the team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the stability and performance of OCI's global network infrastructure, which spans hundreds of thousands of network devices supporting millions of servers across dedicated backbone infrastructure and the Internet.
