Sr Principal Software Developer (Join OCI-Ns2)

Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States, is looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer to join the Oracle National Security Realms (ONSR) organization within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). In this role, you will work with software engineering teams to define and implement new operational patterns for OCI cloud in air-gapped environments. You will play a vital role in architecting systems, diving deep into the stack, and applying your expertise in cloud infrastructure and networking. The position requires U.S. Citizenship and an active U.S. government T/S SCI security clearance. Senior Principal engineers in this role must provide technical leadership, work independently, and collaborate with architects across the commercial cloud. You will develop and operate high-scale services, ensuring cloud-scale services are resilient, debuggable, and operable. The ideal candidate should have experience in developing backend services, a strong coding background (Java, Rust, GoLang, C#), and expertise in large-scale, distributed services infrastructure. Preferred qualifications include experience in IaaS, strong knowledge of computer networking, Linux internals, virtualization technologies, and excellent communication skills.
