Yard Switcher

As a Yard Switcher, you will be responsible for the movement and spotting of containers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage.

$20.00/hr.

Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

• →Prior experience operating manual transmission/10 speed preferred.
• →Responsible for the movement and spotting of containers to facilitate the needs of the warehouse in sorting and processing material for shipment or storage
• →Responsible to maintain a neat and orderly storage lot oriented toward maximizing efficiency in servicing the plant needs
• →Drive and operate vehicle in and around the plant and storage lot/staging area

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attention to detail required to promote safety for you and others
• High motivation and ability to work overtime as necessary

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate 
• Repetitively lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths in time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision.
