About the Role
~1 min readWe’re looking for a Senior Editor to lead Juniper AU’s post-production team in Manila.
This is a hands-on role focused primarily on Meta performance creative. You’ll edit high-volume content yourself, create new variations from existing footage, and help the team produce stronger work at speed. You’ll also be a senior presence on the ground in Manila, giving feedback, improving workflows, and helping bring more direction and consistency to the editing team.
You’ll work closely with producers, creatives, and performance marketers to turn briefs into content that is sharp, platform-aware, and commercially effective.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Edit and oversee high-volume performance content, with a strong focus on Meta-first creative
- →Create and iterate on short-form ads, UGC, cutdowns, hooks, and new variations designed to improve performance
- →Lead and support the Manila-based post-production team, helping lift quality, speed, and consistency across output
- →Give clear, creative feedback to editors and help guide the team toward stronger performance-focused execution
- →Work closely with producers, creatives, and performance marketers to turn briefs into sharp content, platform-aware, and results-driven
- →Bring a strong understanding of hooks, pacing, and retention, and apply that to creative testing and iteration
- →Help the team adopt smarter, more efficient ways of working, including new tools and workflows where useful
- →Act as a senior on-the-ground presence for the Manila team, helping create clarity, direction, and day-to-day support
- →Contribute to content development and brainstorms, with the opportunity to help shape how stories are told across platforms
- →Maintain strong post-production standards across file organisation, versioning, feedback rounds, and delivery
- 3-5 years editing at pace, in-house, agency, or freelance, with a reel that shows range, output, and a clear feel for performance-driven content.
- Performance-literate. You understand hooks, pacing, retention, and iteration, and you care as much about whether the work performs as whether it looks polished.
- Platform-aware. You know how content should behave across paid social, especially Meta, and can adapt creative for different formats, channels, and audiences.
- Commercially minded. You understand that creatives need to do a job, and you’re comfortable working closely with performance marketers to make the work better.
- Curious about better ways of working. You’re open to new tools, including AI-enabled workflows, and you look for practical ways to make the team faster and more effective.
- Fast, organised, and dependable. You can operate in a high-output environment, keep work moving, and bring structure to a busy team.
- Comfortable with iteration. You don’t need perfect conditions to do strong work, and you’re happy testing, refining, and improving until the creative lands.
Nice to Have
