• →Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• →Provides age-appropriate, evidence-based nursing care while advocating for patients and families.
• →Coordinates patient care and appropriately delegates responsibilities to healthcare team members.
• →Collaborates with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and leadership to ensure effective patient care and unit operations.
• →Documents patient assessments, treatments, medications, education, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• →Demonstrates clinical expertise, maintains competency in nursing skills and equipment, and serves as a preceptor, educator, or charge nurse as needed.
• →Promotes a compassionate, safe, inclusive, and therapeutic environment while upholding patient rights and legal standards.
• →Supports professional development, quality improvement initiatives, peer mentoring, organizational goals, and compliance with all policies and procedures.

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health and unit/department.

• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

• 1 year of critical care RN experience required.
