Financial Services - Banking Transformation Consultant Junior (sept. 2027)

Help shape the operational backbone of leading financial institutions.

As a Graduate Consultant FS – Banking Transformation, you will help banks improve and transform their operational backbone. You will work on projects across payments, lending, daily banking operations, onboarding, core banking, and operational excellence, applying Lean management and using AI and smart automation as enablers for better business outcomes.

Working closely with business stakeholders and transformation teams, you will support clients in improving operational efficiency, quality, resilience, and regulatory compliance.

• Support transformation programmes within payments, including the business impact and implementation of new payment regulations, fraud prevention, and the remediation of phishing-alert backlogs, as well as lending, onboarding, and daily banking operations.
• Analyse and redesign business processes using Lean management and operational excellence principles, identifying where AI and smart automation can enable greater efficiency and quality.
• Gather and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Contribute to business analyses, process redesign, and target operating models.
• Support project managers in planning, testing, implementation, and change activities.
• Develop expertise in banking operations, Lean management, operational excellence, and the business-led use of AI and smart automation.

Payments

• Support regulatory implementation, fraud prevention, and phishing-alert backlog remediation.

Lending

• Optimise lending acquisition and lifecycle management processes.

Operational Excellence

• Apply Lean management, using AI and smart automation as business enablers.

Core Banking

• Renew platforms and redesign processes.

• A Master’s degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management, Applied Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A strong interest in banking operations and business transformation, with AI and smart automation viewed as enablers rather than goals in themselves.
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and French, with a good command of English.
• Willingness to work with Financial Services clients across Belgium.
