The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for the reliability, maintenance, and optimization of the plant's electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. This role oversees high-voltage distribution, critical production equipment, automation systems, and electrical capital projects to maximize production efficiency while ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E, MSHA, and company safety standards.

• →Oversee and manage all plant maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• →Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• →Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations, fostering a strong safety culture.
• →Supervise maintenance personnel and ensure effective team coordination and performance.
• →Coordinate with production, engineering, and reliability departments for maintenance projects and shutdowns.
• →Ensure timely execution and quality completion of work orders, maintenance schedules, and major overhauls.
• →Manage maintenance budgets, cost control initiatives, and capital improvement planning.
• →Enforce company safety, environmental, and quality standards within maintenance operations.
• →Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and reliability improvement initiatives.
• →Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS and ensure data integrity.
• →Promote workforce development through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• This is a safety-sensitive position requiring compliance with all company safety policies, MSHA/OSHA regulations, and applicable drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical maintenance, reliability practices, automation systems, and heavy industrial equipment operation.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing electrical, instrumentation, and maintenance personnel in a manufacturing, cement, mining, or heavy industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems, motor controls, PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial automation technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum 7-10 years of electrical maintenance experience in a cement, mining, or heavy manufacturing environment, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs.
• Experience managing electrical capital projects, maintenance budgets, contractors, and outage activities.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA/MSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, NFPA 70E requirements, and industrial safety programs.

• Strong commitment to safety leadership and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate electrical and multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
• Experience developing and executing maintenance and reliability strategies that improve equipment availability and plant performance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of automation control strategies, process control systems, and predictive maintenance technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across operations, engineering, maintenance, and contractor workforces.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced industrial environment.

• Proficiency with CMMS systems such as Oracle, SAP, Maximo, or similar maintenance management platforms.
• Working knowledge of work management processes, inventory control, purchasing, procurement, and maintenance planning systems.
• Experience with environmental compliance requirements, emissions monitoring systems, and operational reporting tools.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, technical documentation, and maintenance performance data.
