Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Crisis assessment, de-escalation, and trauma-informed engagement.
- →Knowledge of DSM-5 and ICD-10 as applied to screening and level-of-care determination. Familiarity with NJ Mental Health Code (N.J.A.C. 10:31), N.J.S.A. 30:4-27, and 42 CFR Part 2
- →Understanding of mental illness and substance use disorders across the continuum of care. Knowledge of community resources, housing support, and social service systems in Hudson County and surrounding areas
- →Ability to gather, analyze, and apply clinical information to determine appropriate disposition
- →Strong written and verbal communication skill
- →Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- →Collaborative, team-oriented approac
- →Professional conduct and maintenance of appropriate boundaries
