IOM Criminal Justice Recovery Coordinator
Quick Summary
Work in a secondment position with the Integrated Offender Management Team (IOM) at Warrington Probation. Visit Prisoners pre-release, to establish a rapport and make plans for their release.
Pathways to Recovery has been serving the community of Warrington since 2007. We are based in our busy Bold Street premises in the heart of Warrington, and we are currently looking for a Recovery Coordinator to work alongside our Integrated Offender Management (IOM) team.
This post in partnership with the IOM team in Warrington emanates in part from the significant drive by the Government as part of its new national Combatting Drugs Strategy, and forms part of our local partnership vision for strengthening our work with the criminal justice system and in particular the continuity of care we want to see between prison leavers and community services.
We are looking for someone with a passion for helping our service users and a can-do attitude to help tackle the often-difficult transition that prisoners leaving custody must overcome in reintegrating back into the community.
You will be someone with the ability to make a real connection with people, someone who has experience in partnership working and can navigate their way through to that win/win outcome for services but crucially never losing sight of the individual service users’ needs at the heart of the work.
